The Real Search
With your team assembled, and your mortgage pre-approval in hand if applicable, it starts to get serious, fast! The real estate market in Arlington has historically been quite resilient, with growth only slowing a little during periods of economic uncertainty, unlike the price drops experienced in other areas. A healthy market moves quickly, and properties are typically on the market for less than 30 days, and sometimes only for a weekend.
New listings typically come to market late in the week, on Thursday or Friday. There will often only be short windows of time to view the property. An hour or two on Saturday and Sunday, maybe some times on Friday or Monday…and then offers are due sometime between Sunday and Tuesday. Sometimes offers are not “held” until a specific time and a property can go under agreement before you knew it was available.
We will do our best to visit the property with you, or on our own if not, and for each property we’ll discuss your requirements and goals and determine whether it makes sense to pursue the property by making an offer.
