I LOVE honey! I can put honey in my tea, on bread, on a spoon….ok, maybe I have a little bit of a problem. But it is a delicious problem! And does so much good.
No bees, no food! Support the bees and beekeeping by buying real honey, and buying local honey.
Fight your allergies by buying the honey made by the bees from the same allergens that are bugging you. Beyond that, honey is a terrific sugar substitute, flavoring, and antimicrobial.
Where can you find real, local honey? (What do you mean, “real honey”? There is lots of arguing and, in my opinion, fear-mongering about the sources and quality of honey: www.foodrenegade.com/your-honey-isnt-honey/ , for example. But for me, I don’t want honey that has been heated and diluted with corn syrup. So I choose local.)
